Chief Executive Officer of MCI, Dr. Jasvir (Gill) Pannu has first-hand experience with different education systems ranging from a small school in rural India to world known colleges and universities in north America.
Jasvir has study experience from three different countries. She obtained her primary school education from govt schools Latala and Manal. After completing her high school education from High School Kurd, she obtained BSc and MSc from Jagraon Science College and M.Phil. from Punjab University Chandigarh. Jasvir taught at Govt College Pojewal (Hoshiarpur) for a short period and then migrated to Canada. She completed her second master’s degree from University of Waterloo, Canada, and PhD from Western Michigan University USA.
Throughout her academic career she has mentored many students at school, college and university levels in India, Canada, and USA. Students she mentored are now at various career positions that include truck operator owners, bankers, professors, neurosurgeon, engineers and scientists.
Reflecting back on her own educational journey, Jasvir wanted to give back to the community of her roots by helping students reach their full potential and reimagine the meaning of success. This is the reason she studied Canadian immigration law from Humber College Toronto, obtained a RCIC license from CICC and registered Manal Canadian Immigration. MCI is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) by the Immigration College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). As per Canada’s Bill C-35 only Authorized Representatives can offer immigration services for a fee or other consideration, at any stage of an application or proceeding. As an RCIC, MCI is eligible to represent clients to Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC), and with the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB).
